We're building the system we wished existed.
AthenaText started with a frustration we kept running into across every business we worked with, and a conviction that the fix was finally possible.
Every business we worked with had the same complaint: they were paying for leads they couldn't respond to fast enough. Roofing contractors paying $80 a lead, losing them to whoever replied first. Real estate teams burning out their agents on Zillow inbox triage. Solar installers running nine-person SDR teams just to keep up with referral volume.
The conventional solutions were all bad. Hire more people at rising salaries, with rising churn. Buy a chatbot that nobody trusted to handle a real conversation. Build internally and lose six months you didn't have. Most teams just accepted the leakage as a cost of doing business.
Two things converged. The conversational AI got good enough, not just to handle scripted FAQ flows, but to hold a multi-turn qualification conversation that leads actually engage with. And the carrier infrastructure for SMS got accessible enough, including 10DLC, TCPA tooling, and deliverability, that you could legitimately operate at scale on day one.
We started AthenaText to put those two things together for the businesses that need them most: the operating teams running on inbound leads, where every minute of delay is a competitor's win. Not enterprise-only, not a six-month implementation, not a pilot you have to staff yourself. Just a working AI that handles the first hour of every lead, end-to-end.
A world where response speed and conversation quality stop being a function of headcount. Where a five-person operating team can compete with a fifty-person inside sales org. Where the smallest contractor in a market can be the first conversation a homeowner has, every time, automatically.
We're not interested in being a thin wrapper over someone else's model, or a marketing-automation tool with a chatbot bolted on. The product gets better the harder it works, and we ship to it every week. If you want to see where it's heading, the product updates page is the cleanest read.
